Today is Sunday, the last day of my holiday. And what
do you do, you clean up all the Christmas stuff. Like you could see in one of
my previous blogposts, I had a lot of decoration-stuff. Without all of these
decorations, things can look a bit boring, I find. I have to get used to it
again.
I like the cosiness (also known in Dutch as “gezelligheid”, I will talk
about that in a few days) that Christmas gives. All of the lights, Christmas dinners,
being together with friends and family but also of course the Christmas gifts underneath
the three. After everything is cleaned up, I try to have as many candles as
possible to keep the spirit a bit. That compensates a little.
Do you guys dislike
it to, that Christmas is already over?
But this time is also all about studying… The examination
week of my chemistry study is starting
tomorrow. So studying is how I have started my new year.
Dare to dream, dare to grow, dare to be.
Yes, it's a bummer that holdiays went by sooo fast.
ReplyDeleteWishing you luck with your new year and that exam!
